Over Peover is a small rural village just east of Knutsford. It is on the doorstep of Peover Hall, a fine Elizabethan mansion belonging to the Mainwaring family, and home to General Patton in WW2.

The village has a small centre with a pub, a primary school, a playing field, and a successful league cricket club.
